These terms are designed to ensure a smooth, hassle-free process for your new
door from quotation to installation. Please take a moment to read them carefully before placing your order.
1. Quotations and Orders
1.1. All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.
1.2. To confirm your order, we require a signed acceptance of the quotation and payment of a 50% deposit.
1.3. Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered, as this covers the cost of goods purchased specifically for your order.
2. Prices and Payment
2.1. The total price includes the supply of your door, all specified hardware, and the fitting service as detailed in your quotation including disposal of old door unless discussed otherwise
.2.2. Any additional work or materials requested after acceptance of the quotation will incur a separate charge
.2.3. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the installation and your satisfaction with the work.
2.4. Payment can be made via bank transfer, debit/credit card, or cash, unless otherwise agreed.
3. Delivery and Delays
3.1. We provide an estimated timeframe for delivery and installation. Please note this is an estimate and may change due to unforeseen circumstances, such as material shortages, logistical issues, or adverse weather.
3.2. We will notify you promptly of any delays and provide a revised schedule where possible.
3.3. Sussex Door Solutions is not liable for any losses, damages, or costs caused by delays outside our control, including those caused by manufacturers, suppliers, or weather conditions.
4. Fitting and Installation
4.1. Customers are responsible for ensuring the fitting area is clear and accessible on the agreed installation date
.4.2. We take care during installation, but minor damage to surrounding plaster or brickwork may occur and is considered standard wear and tear.
4.3. The fitting service includes the removal and disposal of your old door.
5. Cancellations
5.1. To cancel an order, notice must be given in writing.
5.2. If cancellation occurs after materials have been ordered, the deposit will be non-refundable to cover incurred costs.
6. Changes to Orders
6.1. Any changes requested after the order has been confirmed or materials have been ordered may incur additional charges.
6.2. We reserve the right to adjust lead times if changes affect production or installation schedules.
7. Acknowledgment
7.1 By accessing this website, requesting a quotation, placing an order, making a payment, or permitting installation works to proceed, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
